Phoned Steelcase to discuss my experience. Waited an hour for warehouse staff to contact Steelcase, find if there were any spares available and then assemble it. Went to the warehouse, chair was not ready for me to pickup. Representative also stated that the order was ready to pick up back in June 2021. Received a response more than a month later, representative simply apologised for the delayed response and did not acknowledge my situation. I requested for a definite pick-up date otherwise to issue a refund. I sent an email to Steelcase late November with my formal complaint along with supporting evidence. Steelcases second version of their Leap desk chair features a more modern, more comfortable design than the original Leap. Received emails on June, July and October stating that the order has been delayed due to COVID. Was told that someone will get in touch to organise pick-up Placed an order for a chair on June 2021 as my current chair was visibly wearing away. Waited >1 month for a response to my complaint. Steelcase didn't proactively follow up on this issue and contact me. Waited 7 months to receive my chair due to miscommunication between Steelcase and third party warehouse.
